Its address provides an inland base in the beach town, while published facilities include air conditioning, in-room Wi-Fi, bottled water and parking. An airport shuttle is also listed, although that does not establish a complimentary transfer.
The room amenities are straightforward ones for a guesthouse stay. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi cover basic comfort and connectivity; parking is useful for someone arriving with a vehicle. The listing does not turn the property into a beachfront resort, and the older guest accounts make the distance from the beach part of their assessment.
The smallest room has limits
Rightfootforward’s March 2013 review described three nights in a small but comfortable room. Hot water, a refrigerator, television and air conditioning all worked during that stay. For a traveller mainly using the room between outings, those functioning essentials were the memorable part of the experience.
Alex V’s two-week April 2012 stay adds a more specific warning. The small room with a window felt very tight, with air conditioning directly over the bed and little spare space beyond the furnishings. The guest appreciated daily cleaning and a helpful family owner, but recommended choosing a larger room and considering transport for exploring.
