Stay near the historical park

Sukhothai Chalet is listed at 368/3 Moo 3, Muang Kao, Sukhothai. Qantas’s property inventory places it close to Sukhothai Historical Park. This Muang Kao address matters when arranging transport: accommodation near the ruins serves a different itinerary from a room in New Sukhothai.

Simple rooms in a family setting

Ninatait79’s July 2017 review described four chalet-style huts within the owners’ family-home grounds, between the park’s central and northern zones. The accommodation was basic, clean and comfortable, although the bed felt hard to that guest. A traditional Thai breakfast and welcoming family were highlights.

Patrick S’s March 2017 account also described four bungalows, with air conditioning, refrigerator, television and private bathroom. The family balanced hosting with work in town and arranged check-in around that schedule. Ask about arrival instructions rather than assume a continuously staffed hotel desk.

Bicycles were part of the experience

Both guests mentioned complimentary bicycles for exploring the historical park. That is a useful historical feature, but availability, condition and any present charge need confirmation. Likewise, the earlier breakfast accounts do not establish what is included in a current rate.

The property’s attraction is a small, personal chalet stay close to the ruins. Confirm the bed arrangement, bicycle provision and check-in procedure before building the day’s sightseeing around them.
