Period details with room categories to compare

Reverie Siam stands at 476 Moo 8, Wiang Tai, beside the Pai River. The hotel’s visual character draws on early twentieth-century cultural exchange, with period-inspired interiors rather than a uniform contemporary resort finish. That character reaches into the guest accommodation as well as the shared spaces.

The official room overview describes aged plaster exteriors, antique pieces and decorative references to writing, music, textiles and fashion. Handmade bathroom soaps and lotions use scents including mandarin, rose water and kaffir lime. These are the hotel’s own design and amenity descriptions, rather than a guest inspection.

The individually styled rooms make category selection consequential. Booking’s inventory includes Deluxe Double accommodation with either a garden view or a balcony, with seating areas, refrigerators, cable television, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. Match the booked category to the space and outlook that matter to you.

The Stone Pool and Infinity Pool offer different settings

The official swimming page distinguishes two saltwater pools. The Infinity Pool looks towards greenery. The Stone Pool has a freeform outline and a stated length of 25 metres, giving it a different appeal for someone who wants to swim rather than simply sit beside the water.

Deluxe Pool Room balconies provide access to the Stone Pool, which can also be reached through the central maze area. This is a specific category feature: a balcony elsewhere at the hotel does not automatically mean pool access. Ask for the room’s exact relationship to the water when comparing rates.

A shallow section accommodates paddling. Families should still establish the depth and supervision arrangements that suit their children. The hotel says both pools use saltwater systems; that detail does not establish heated water or a particular swimming temperature.

A riverside table can be part of the stay

The dining concept brings together Northern Thai cooking and Western dishes, alongside signature cocktails, wine, local coffee and fresh juices. Riverside seating makes the restaurant relevant to an afternoon pause as well as an evening meal. It is worth considering the menu when deciding how much time to spend on the grounds.

The hotel identifies resident cofounder Pira Laohacharoensombat as the leader of its food and beverage team and a certified sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers. Wine therefore has a defined place in the dining offer. Confirm current menus and service times directly, particularly when planning a special dinner.

Activities require advance arrangements

The official experience list includes a Pai Valley tour, Lod Cave, a half-day hike, bamboo rafting and sunset dining or picnic options. Morning alms and sunrise tea offer different ways to structure time beyond the room and pools.

The hotel names Earth Spirit Tours as the operator of its tours and transport. It also says availability is limited and seasonal conditions apply. Choose an activity and enquire ahead; being listed on the website does not mean it runs every day or is included in the room rate.

A February guest liked the design but found the water cold

Ami’s Booking review of 18 February 2026 followed four nights in a Deluxe Double Room with Balcony. The guest liked the landscaping, room design and cleanliness, breakfast and courteous shuttle service. The reservation was the pool temperature: the water felt very cold.

That report makes the two pools an appealing feature with a practical limit for temperature-sensitive swimmers. Reverie Siam’s strongest combination is its distinctive rooms, different pool settings and riverside food and drink, with excursions available by arrangement.
