Facilities Koh Miang (Koh Si)

Koh Miang is another important reception island because of completed facilities it has including food shops, lodges, camping grounds and toilets. The Tourists Service Center and souvenir shops are also here, the reason why a lot of tourists visit Koh Miang each day.

Lodges
A number of lodges are available along the front beach with 50 houses to accommodate as many as 100 visitors. 20 hillside houses with bedding, electric fan, air-conditioner, dressing table, wardrobe and private bathroom-Baan Chom View 101/1 101/20 for two persons each at 2,000 bath/night and Baan Similan 102/1-102/5, 103/1-103/5, 104/1-104/5, 105/1-105/5, 106/1-106/5, 107/1-107/5 to serve. Tourisits who want to stay overnight on Koh Miang should book in advance at www.dng.go.th.

Camping Ground
For nature-lovers, the National Park has tents for rent at 570 bath/tent with beddings for two/night to stay overnight on the camping ground near the beach that accommodates over 150 persons. More than 10 shared-bathrooms are available in the rear. Tourists who want to stay overnight on Koh Miang should book in advance at www.dnp.go.th. Food
Beside the Tourists Service Center is the welfare food shop that accommodate over 80 persons with 5 set menus/meal daily to choose. Drink can be purchased from a freezer or at the counter at 20 bath for a plain rater, 30 bath for soft drink and 50-60 bath for beer. Meals for package tour are already reserved.
National Park Tour boats
Tourists with no package tour from Thablamu who need to go dive around the island can take the Park’s boat service with long-tailed boat for less than 12 persons and biger boat that accommodates more passengers. Delivery from Koh Si to other islands is also available.

- Koh Si-Koh Hok about 6 kilometers at 150 bath/person.
- Koh Si-Koh Paed about 11.5 kilometers at 200 bath/person.
- Koh Si-Koh Kao about 13.5 kilometers at 300 bath/person.
- Koh Paed- Koh Kao tour is at 300 bath/person.
